Danville goes into this matchup with a win against the Saint Clair Fighting Saints on the books.

Danville, IL – The Danville Dashers picked up their seventh straight win on Thursday night, with a 4-3 win over the St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints.
Danville started out hot, scoring two goals in the first six minutes of the game, but then took their foot off the gas and stalled out until the third period. Mitchell Mueller and Justin Brausen would score the early goals for Danville. The Dashers took a one goal lead into the third period, but would wind up in a tie game after Branden Fehd scored on a rebound for St. Clair Shores.
Danville wouldn’t let them hang around long though, scoring two quick goals, one off of the stick of Daniel Turgeon, and the other from Eric Witzel. St. Clair Shores would add a goal late, but it wouldn’t be enough, and Danville would pick up the win.
Danville out shot the Fighting Saints 38-24. Storm Phaneuf picked up the win for the Dashers, improving him to five and zero on the season. Danville is now a commanding 16 points in first place, and will look to continue their hot streak on Friday and Saturday when they face Danbury for a weekend double header.
