Michigan Bucks advance to play Portland Timbers 2 (USL) in Round 2 7:30pm ET May 18th

Last weeks win allows the Bucks to move onto the second round of the US Open Cup and host the USL Portland Timbers 2 team on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:30pm at Ultimate Soccer Arenas. The winner of the second round game will either travel to Seattle Sounders FC 2 or will host Kitsap Pumas depending upon the winner of their game.

The Michigan Bucks, 2014 PDL National Champions, will host the USL Portland Timbers 2 Tuesday night in the second round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup at 7:30pm at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac Michigan.
The winner of this round will face either the USL Seattle Sounders 2 at their field or host the PDL Kitsap Pumas on Tuesday, May 26th or Wednesday, May 27th. A PDL National Championship rematch could take place if the Bucks and Pumas win as they both faced off last August for the title.
Saturday night, the Michigan Bucks hosted TFC Academy and earned another shutout win of 2-0 in their PDL season home opener. After the win, Coach Demir Muftari and his team are now looking towards the Timbers.
“I am confident we have the necessary parts to have success,” stated Muftari. “This is going to be a very important game on Tuesday in what we expect will be a very quick and physical match. The level of the game against Portland will be a whole lot faster than what we have seen so far. We are going to have to be nearly perfect to advance to Round Three.”
US Open Cup tickets for Tuesday’s May 19th matchup against Portland Timbers 2 at 7:30pm are $10 Adults and $7 youth (16 and under) and will be available at the door. Children 5 and under are always free to Bucks games.
Only $4 for Youth fans if they are wearing their Michigan Bucks gear or their club uniform that night.
